HELLO! I'M BREE
here is a little bit more about my practice
It's important that as you seek out a mental health professional, you find a clinician whose practice orientation, values, and personality fits well with yours. Research consistently demonstrates that the relationship between you and your clinician is the most important predictor of positive outcomes in treatment. The foundation of my practice is person-centered, which means that interventions, strategies, and goals are tailored to your needs, worldview, and lived experiences.

A significant part of my work has been supporting individuals who have experienced social oppression as a result of their intersecting identities. I acknowledge my privilege as a cis-gendered, white woman and seek to demonstrate cultural competency and to approach all of my work from a trauma-informed lens. Historically, I have supported many late-discovered neurodiverse and 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals and couples in an identity-affirming way and I am happy to support clients through the process of seeking and understanding identity as a component of my practice.

Regardless of your goals for counselling, our work together will be collaborative, and you will be provided with a warm, validating space that allows you to process, find healing, and grow.
